Saint Elmo’s Tourism brings PUMA to the Black Forest – sneaker design as a tribute to the icons of the Black Forest.
How do you get a young, international audience excited about the Black Forest, away from traditional tourism campaigns?
Together with PUMA, we designed three limited edition sneakers that celebrate the craftsmanship and tradition of the Black Forest. A microsite and social media channels explained the story behind the design, which sparked interest in the Black Forest. The collaboration was launched with an exclusive pop-up store and launch event in Tokyo. The result: refreshingly different destination marketing that goes off the beaten path. The first tourism campaign you can actually walk in.
